…though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him… Hebrews 5.8-9

To obey the Word of God, the Lord Jesus also had to sacrifice.

There was not, there is not and there will never be obedience without sacrifice.

While many want to have a perfect life after only one prayer, our Lord was perfected through the sacrifice He made on the cross, and therefore saves all who obey Him.

This is the difference between supernatural faith and religious faith. While the supernatural obey, the religious do not obey.

Obedience is worth more than worship. Especially, because true worship is only valid when its presented on the Altar.

If I am on the Altar, it is because I am obeying the Word of God.

What good is to worship God if I am not on the Altar, living in disobedience?

When you are not on the Altar your words may be beautiful, but they are empty.

Worship on the Altar is offered with sacrifice in the obedience to the Word of God.

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. John 4.24

This is, on the altar, in the sacrifice of obedience.
