Since the phenomenal release of the first Nothing to Lose autobiography by Bishop Edir Macedo — a book that literally took the world by storm, packing out global book stores, topping non-fiction charts and even changing lives — the anticipation of the hugely-awaited sequel was tremendous.
It was a beautiful and sunny day; perfect weather for a book launch. Hundreds of people were eager to get their hands on a copy of “Nothing to Lose 2” as they gathered at the King Edward Hotel in Toronto on Saturday, September 20th.
Bishop Roberto Kasabian together with other pastors — representatives of the UCKG in Canada— signed books along to the soothing sound of classical music. The excitement and unity was evident; families and friends chatted and laughed as they took advantage of this one-day-only event, eager to get their hands on their own copy of the autobiography.
The event ended on the final high note of the day. Over 350 people were present and a grand total of 2,174 books were sold in Canada, including copies in French, Portuguese and Spanish.
