With this letter I would like to thank a few media outlets: Globo TV, Folha de Sao Paulo and Veja Magazine; tie-wearing critics; those who were behind Bishop Macedo’s arrest; the singers who tried to belittle the UCKG and Bishop Macedo with their “lyrics”; those who told lies about us; the newspapers who sold articles that slandered the Church; and the radio hosts who used their voices during minutes, hours and even weeks, spreading lies to their listeners.

I would also like to thank the preachers who used their pulpits and the media to vaccinate their members against the Universal Church.

Such pulpits and media outlets should have been used to spread the good and perfect Word of God to those who are afflicted!

I would also like to thank those who rebelled against this ministry and turned away, taking with them a third of the stars, revealing that, in fact, the Lord Jesus loves this Work. He allowed all of this to happen to cleanse and purify His Holy Work.

I would also like to thank those who threw stones at this Work, because the Holy Spirit has enabled us to build great Churches with those stones.

All of this leads us to understand that the Universal Church is Blessed. The Bible tells us so:

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5.10-12

I would also like to thank those who were used by demons to persecute, imprison, crucify and kill the Lord Jesus.

They thought they were doing mankind evil. When actually, they did a great favor to those who are lost, because through Jesus’ death, we have access to the presence of God!
