May the Lord God Almighty be with each one of you and your family. And may this day be filled with His presence.
A tip for those who are seeking to receive the Holy Spirit is: SINCERE REPENTANCE.
Sincere repentance involves the following steps of sacrifice:
1 – Acknowledge your sins – This means you must sacrifice your pride;
2 – Confess them verbally to God – This will destroy the pride;
3 – Abandon them immediately – sacrifice your flesh and the desire to commit them again;
4 – Hate them, and understand that they were sent from hell to steal, kill and destroy.
Note that repentance has nothing to do with remorse. Repentance has to do with reason, and remorse has to do with emotion. No one is forgiven based on their feelings. Besides, there is no sacrifice when it comes to remorse.
John the Baptist preached a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins (Luke 3.3);
Peter gave us the recipe for Salvation: Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Also, there is no use getting baptized in water without a sincere repentance. Unfortunately, most people think that being baptized in water is enough to receive the Holy Spirit. No! Before being baptized in water there has to be a sincere repentance. Only after this happens should you be baptized in water. Then, naturally, comes the baptism with the Holy Spirit.
Follow this recipe and the Lord Jesus will baptize you with His Spirit.
