On the 6th of February, I lived one of the greatest experiences in my ministry. After performing so many rescues, the time came to rescue my brother, “Captain Correa”. He was an army captain, but now, during the last minutes of his life, there was a waging war over his soul. After being a Spiritist for 45 years, he was stricken with a cancer that led to his death. Through this experience, once again
, I was able to see what the Lord said being fulfilled:
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” Acts 1.8
When we are baptized with the Holy Spirit, we receive authority against all of hell. Many have no idea of the “power” they have once they receive the Spirit of God.
Five days before his death, I received the news that his condition worsened and he was near death, so I used this authority and said, “He is not going to die before I get there.”
The doctors had removed his kidney, bladder and prostate. His condition took long strides towards death. Demons surrounded his bed celebrating and looking forward to when this time came. He had received numerous visits from my fellow friends in faith, including bishops, pastors, assistants and evangelists, which I am very grateful for all the warmth and dedication that was shown to my brother. However, I would like to thank Sergeant Jaqueline, an assistant who works at the Military Hospital, who took care of this soul following our spiritual direction until his last breath, and always spoke to him about Jesus, specially outside visiting hours, and prayed every time he asked, during moments of suffering and pain.
Until the time came when the Holy Spirit touched me and said I had to go to Rio and rescue him, because this was the end and his soul was surrounded by evil spirits like vultures on carrion. I asked my leader for permission to go and went to rescue my brother, in the same faith as Abraham when he went to rescue his nephew Lot.
I arrived at the hospital with 318 of most powerful angels God ordered to come with me. I asked everyone in the room to leave because they wouldn’t understand what I was going to do – certainly they would say I was crazy or a fanatic.
This was a RESCUE mission.
When I walked into his room with my wife and son, I didn’t speak to him because, though he was conscious, he could not answer any more. His eyes were closed and slightly trembling, I couldn’t hear or understand when he spoke, but he could hear me. With my arms raised towards the walls and corners of the room, I spoke in a firm tone and filled with an AUTHORITY that was given to me when I received the Holy Spirit. I said:
“GET OUT OF HERE, GET OUT OF HERE, GET OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW! RELEASE HIS SOUL, RIGHT NOW, LET’S GO! YOU’VE LOST, YOU’VE LOST, YOU’VE LOST! I’M HERE NOW WITH THE 318, SO LET GO OF HIM NOW, LET GO! JESUS, SURROUND HIS SOUL WITH ANGELS RIGHT NOW! GET OUT OF HERE DEMONS, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS SOUL!”
In spirit, I could imagine the demons turning away filled with hatred, but they had to live with the fact that they lost the battle for a soul that was under their domain for 45 years. I felt like I was breaking into captivity and freeing a hostage.
After several minutes, I finally turned to him and said, “I know you can hear me, it’s me, your brother, Sergio. Pay attention, you’re life here on earth is coming to an end. Your suffering will be multiplied by a trillion shortly and for all eternity if you do not give your life to Jesus right now, in fact and truth, because the demons are here, ready to take your soul to hell. I came from far to rescue you, but only if you surrender your life to Jesus right now, and within minutes you will enter into the joy, the joy of heaven. If you want Jesus, then, in thought, repeat these words after me…”
So I prayed for him to repeat after me and then I said to Jesus, “he can no longer live with this mutilated body in this world. We have rescued his soul from the devil’s claws, now I ask that You take him into Your arms.”
I asked God that when I finished the rescue mission and turned my back, He could take him as a sign that He had saved my brother’s soul. I finished the prayer by saying, “This is it Jesus, You can take him.”
I came back to the Church here in Rio, and about an hour later, he took his last breath and went into the arms of my Lord. Another soul saved and another RESCUE completed, THE RESCUE OF CAPTAIN CORREA.
I hope to have helped those who read this understand the importance of receiving the POWER and AUTHORITY of God through the baptism with the Holy Spirit.
