I asked my Lord what message I should give the discouraged today.

This was the answer:

“For thus says the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite (repentant) ones.” Isaiah 57.15

The Lord Jesus reinforces this invitation by saying:

“Come to Me, ALL YOU WHO LABOR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST.” Matthew 11.28

You may ask: How can I go to the Lord Jesus when I am still in this filth? Will He receive me?

Just think about it this way: Do healthy people need a doctor? NO!

His invitation is for people like you, who are afflicted and desperate. After all, can He save those who consider themselves saved? NO! Can He forgive those who consider themselves without sin? NO! Can He heal those who are healthy? No, a thousand times, no!

HE CAN ONLY SAVE THOSE WHO CONSIDER THEMSELVES LOST;
FREE THOSE WHO CONSIDER THEMSELVES CAPTIVE, RESTRAINED, IN THE CLAWS OF EVIL.

So, if you need Him right now, go to a private place (it can even be the bathroom), humbly kneel down and speak to Him the way you know how to…

Use His name because this is what He promised.
There is no need to choose words or say beautiful prayers, NO!

Be honest and straightforward.
