The month of August will never be forgotten by Pr. Quincy Leith. On the 31st he was consecrated as a Pastor of the Universal Church by Bp. Roberto Kasabian. The ceremony took place at the UCKG’s headquarters in Canada located in Toronto.

Around 300 people witnessed this extraordinary moment. “A pastor’s consecration represents the approval of his ministry because of his devotion, obedience, good character, fear of God and love for his neighbour” explained the bishop. The newly ordained pastor invited all those present to seek the Holy Spirit and give their lives to God to receive peace, joy, strength and courage; essential attributes to achieve the much desired happiness in their lives.

Earlier that month, 2 pastors and 1 bishop were consecrated during the U-Can event that took place in Brooklyn, NY where more than 2,500 people were present. For more information about the U-Can event visit universal.org/usa/en.
