The promise of the Lord Jesus to pray that Another Helper substitute Him was already fulfilled on the day of Pentecost.

Since then, the Holy Spirit has been in the world longing to dwell in those who believe in His Son Jesus.

However, not all who confess Jesus as their Lord receive Him.

Why is this?

Because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth.

Is it possible for those who are possessed by the spirit of lies to receive the Spirit of Truth?

Of course not!

Only those who turn away from the lies can receive the Spirit of Truth.

Otherwise, how can the Spirit of Truth live with the spirit of lies in the same body?

Even most of those who know Him through biblical information are not possessed by Him because they remain living a lie.

Knowing Him does not necessarily mean having Him.

The world does not have Him because they do not know Him and many “Christians” have knowledge of Him, yet they do not have Him because they lie and are deceitful.

Jesus said:

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever —the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him… John 14.16-17

Those who are possessed by the Spirit of Truth will never live a lie.

The Truth is a column of Justice.

While the Throne of the Most High is made of Righteousness, the devil’s throne is made of unrighteousness.

Those who walk in righteousness serve the Almighty God, but those who lie serve the father of lies, Satan.

May the liars humble themselves and be saved!
