The will of the deceased

I will make you a great nation, I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Genesis 12.2-3

When a will is written to divide the possessions of a rich man, no one can change its terms, unless by chance, all the beneficiaries agree to the changes (which is a very difficult thing to happen). In other words, what was determined in the will is what will be done, even if the person that wrote it is dead. The wishes of the deceased will be fulfilled.

Now, stop and think about the “Will” of God! What we read above is not His desire only for Abraham, but for all those who surrender to Him. He said:

blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice. Genesis 22.17-18

If this was written by a deceased man, and this document was submitted before a judge, no one could challenge it. No one! Therefore, imagine the will of God! The fullness of His blessings is unquestionable, and there is no power in the world, whether on Earth, or below it (hell), able to annul such promise.
The same God that made this promise is Alive, and His will is available to those who, by faith, are delivered from their emotions and become children of Abraham.

Now is the time to take possession of His will in your life. The condition here is simple: listen, obey and sacrifice!

By doing so, neither hell nor the devil will be able to prevent you from achieving these promises.

This is the sum of the years of Abraham’s life which he lived: one hundred seventy-five years. Then Abraham breathed his last and died in a good old age, an old man and full of years, and was gathered to his people. Genesis 25.7-8

Did you understand the spirit? “…he died in a good old age, full of years”. His life was abundant, and Abraham became a reference of faith for all of us today. Nothing and no one was able to stop this from happening.

Would you like to inherit the same life and the same promises? They have already been granted to you. All you need to do is listen, obey and sacrifice, like Abraham did.
