How can you deny the transforming effect on the character of a person who possesses the Mind of Christ?
It is not a matter of being religious or belonging to a certain denomination; it has to do with a new mind, a new life, a new creation, a new man.
The natural man gives way to a spiritual man;
The selfish man gives way to a generous man;
The evil man gives way to a kind man.
The change is brutal in all aspects.
However, the most pronounced regards the relationships with family and friends, as well as with enemies.
Take a look at the Mind of Jesus through His Teachings:
You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, Matthew 5.43-44
And in His practice:
Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” Luke 23.34
Who would be willing to love his enemies and forgive his murderer, if he did not have the Mind of Christ or the Spirit of Christ?
Referring to himself and the Christians at Corinth, Paul assures:
But we have the mind of Christ. I Corinthians 2.16
And do you, dear reader, also have the Mind of Christ?
