Faith, tithes and offerings did not exist before sin.
They were unnecessary because the relationship between the Creator and man resembled the relationship between the Creator and the angels. In other words, the figurative Gateway into the presence of the Almighty did not exist.
Adam and Eve did not have restrictions to enter the presence of the Almighty.
It was only after sin occurred that the Lord established rules for man to enter His presence. Because, how could the profane come before the Holy of Holies?
The first Godly act, after man sinned, was the sacrifice of an animal,
Forcing death to be included in creation;
With death, the sacrificial offering for sin was established;
The sacrificial offering established faith.
The animal sacrificed by the Lord God prophesied the sacrifice of His Son Jesus;
Just like the animal skin covered the naked bodies of Adam and Eve, the blood of Jesus removes the sins of those who choose Him as their Lord and Savior.
Jesus Christ is only the Lord of those who truly serve Him.
The tithes or firstfruits of the harvest were a practice established by God before the Law and Commandments of Moses to prove the loyalty of His servants.
Abraham paid his tithes to Melchizedek, Genesis 14.20.
Tithes symbolize the tithe-giver on the Altar of God, just as Jesus symbolized the Tithe of God in favor of mankind.
Jesus was the Only Son of God (Begotten). Later, He became the First Son of God (Firstborn) because, through Him, many other children were formed by His Spirit.
The people of Israel, for example, were the firstfruits of God; this is, they symbolized the tithe of God in this world.
Israel was holiness to the Lord, the firstfruits of His increase… Jeremiah 2.3
The original sin caused death,
which requires faith to obtain salvation,
which requires a sacrificial offering for the remission of the sin (…without shedding of blood there is no remission, Hebrews 9.22),
which requires a daily sacrifice like Jesus said in Luke 9.23:
If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.
Therefore, those who are willing to save their soul must live by a faith that requires sacrifice, sacrifice and sacrifice.
