“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7.24-27
A wise person is attentive, cautious, discreet, careful, prepared, vigilant and plans ahead. He always chooses to follow the Truth, knowing he will be rewarded with a peaceful, quiet and tranquil conscious. Jesus guarantees: THIS HOUSE DID NOT FALL FOR IT WAS FOUNDED ON THE ROCK (TRUTH).
Foolish is “nice” way to consider someone that is isolated, demented, out of control, crazy, insane, irrational or senseless.
In other words, a foolish person is anyone who is opposed to reason, common sense, and wants to take advantage of everything at any price. For this reason, he opts to lie, cheat, steal, corruption… This is, he chooses the easy way. In the end, the possibility of tragedy is 100%. Jesus guarantees: GREAT IS HIS FALL.
There’s no other way around it, everything in life depends on these Words.
Professional success depends on this;
Financial success depends on this;
The foundation of a solid and happy home depends on this;
A love-filled relationship depends on this;
Life depends on this;
The salvation of the soul depends on this;
EVERYTHING depends on these Words.
Those who are wise will understand what the Lord Jesus is teaching in this extraordinary message, because it is clear that both the wise and the foolish are affected by the same problems: THE RAIN DESCENDED, THE FLOODS CAME, AND THE WINDS BLEW AND BEAT ON THE HOUSES…
The house represents a person’s life, their family, career, business, love life; this is, everything that relates to the person himself.
The fact that the Lord is referring to all those who hear the Word also draws my attention. He does not exclude any one. Therefore, both the wise and the foolish have access to the Word and the same right to obey or disobey. This means that everyone who hears the Word is responsible for their own Salvation before the Almighty.
So, has the reader of this blog been wise or foolish?
