Day 17 of the Fast of Daniel

Sincere Repentance

May the Eternal Most High God be with each one of you and your families. And may today be filled with His presence.

The tip for those who are seeking to receive the Holy Spirit is: SINCERE REPENTANCE.

Sincere repentance involves the following steps of sacrifice:

1 – Recognize your sins – therefore, you must sacrifice your pride;
2 – Confess them to God – this destroys pride;
3 – Abandon them immediately – sacrifice the flesh or the desire to commit them again;
4 – Despise them, knowing that they come from hell to steal, kill and destroy.

Understand that repentance has nothing to do with remorse. Repentance has to do with what is rational, and remorse has to do with emotions. No one is forgiven based on feelings. Besides, there is no sacrifice in remorse.

John the Baptist preached a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins (Luke 3.3);
Peter gave the recipe for Salvation:

Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit;” Acts 2.38

It is also useless to be baptized in water without a sincere repentance. Unfortunately, most people think that the baptism in water is enough to receive the Holy Spirit. No! Before the baptism in water, there must be a sincere repentance. Only after this happens, then the person should be baptized in water. Then, in a natural way, the baptism with the Holy Spirit will take place.

Follow this recipe and the Lord Jesus will baptize you with His Spirit.
