clothed

Clothed, not naked

“For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked.” 2 Corinthians 5.1-3

The body we have, no matter how strong or beautiful, will cease to exist one day.
The body is the earthly house of this tent; it is temporary.
When this happens, and it will happen sooner or later, where will your soul live for all of eternity?

In the lake of fire and brimstone with the devil, the beast, the false prophet, death and hell? No! I don’t think this is what you want.

We have a building from God, a house that is not made by the hands of man, it is eternal, a habitation in heaven for the dwelling of our soul.

But, like everything in life, there is a condition. The condition to leave this earthly house and live in the heavenly habitation is to be clothed and not be found naked.

Only wearing the Armor of God (Ephesians 6.10), of the Holy Spirit, will we be able to stand firm against all the wiles of the devil, and to withstand in the evil day, and after we have overcome all things, we will stand unwavering.

It is on the evil day that we groan, grieve and suffer in the name of our faith. But once clothed, everything passes, everything ends, everything finishes.

Now, those who find themselves spiritually naked will fall into the devil’s first trap and will not withstand the evil day.

In conclusion: If you want your soul to live in the heavenly habitation when this earthly house ends, then you cannot be naked, but dressed in the Armor of God, which will give you the conditions to withstand and always prevail.
