Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward. Genesis 15.1
Abraham was so revolted that he disregarded this promise from God.
Despite his innumerous privileges, he was greatly revolted against the humiliating situation he was in.
He was blessed by the Lord wherever he went;
Nobody dared to mess with him, because the Almighty was his shield;
Those who blessed him were blessed;
Those who cursed him were cursed.
Abraham was invincible, untouchable, unwavering because he trusted the Almighty God.
After prevailing over four kings, who had conquered five other kings, Abraham was afraid that his fame would spread and raise the anger and envy of the people of those lands.
He could only count on the 318 men born in his own house.
When the Lord appeared to him in a vision and told him not to fear his enemies because He would give him an exceedingly great reward, Abraham expressed revolt against the humiliating situation of not having a child.
In other words, he disregarded the promise of an exceedingly great reward.
When you manifest a bold faith, there is nothing to lose.
This is the kind of faith that violates hell, destroys doubts and imposes the person’s desire.
I believe the boldness of Abraham’s faith pleased the Almighty.
This is why God showed him the starry sky.
And promised him innumerable descendants.
This is how the Almighty acts.
He is always ready
to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us… Ephesians 3.20
Ps. Don’t forget: the Fast of Jesus is not for everyone, just like the infinite blessings of the Almighty are also not for everyone
